I'm Faith Evans, and I love to make custom quilts! I also lead custom quilting workshops, teaching persons of all sewing abilities. Helping people design their own custom quilts with the fabrics and colors they like best is a real joy for me.
I remember getting my first sewing machine when I was about 11 years old. (We won't get into how long ago that was, but I now have four lovely grandchildren.) I began by sewing clothes, then tried my hand at upholstery. As luck would have it, I next discovered my lifelong passion – CUSTOM QUILTING! What a way to go...there is never enough time to design and sew!
My custom quilting workshops have been around since 1986. Many of my former students come back to re-enroll in current workshops, simply to share the comraderie of fellow quilters while working on their own custom quilts.
